BaDDogz Awards 2012

BaDDogz are proud to announce the biggest thing since the Oscars were created . . . the launch of the BaDDogz Awards 2012 !!! 

Designed to be inclusive for all of our members regardless of grade or ability, the Awards will be a fantastic opportunity to track your agility achievements, big and small, throughout the year.

The proposed BaDDogz Awards categories for 2012 are . . .

  • Dog with the most points at . . . Grade 1,  Grade 2, Grade 3 through to Grade 7 
  • Best result for dog's first ever run at a show (anysize and competitive height class)
  • Best Small ; Medium ; Large dog (by points)
  • Best Veteran dog (over 10 years) (by points)
  • Best Veteran handler (suggestions for age this should start at!) (by points)
  • Best Contacts in competition (judged by Trudy Swann)
  • Best Weaves in competition (judged by Trudy Swann)
  • Best Improvement in the ring over 2012 (nominations to be received by members)
  • Dog that has the most fun in the ring (nominations to be received by members)
  • Handler that has the most fun in the ring (nominations to be received by members)
  • Most entertaining round of 2012 (nominations to be received by members)

Points System . . .

Clear round in anysize = 2 points ; Clear round in jumping = 3 points ; Clear round in agility = 5 points

Points for anysize / steeplechase places = 20 points for 1st place ; 18 for 2nd ; 16 for 3rd ; 15 for 4th ; 14 for 5th ; 13 for 6th ; 12 for 7th ; 11 for 8th ; 10 for 9th ; 9 for 10th ; 8 for 11th ; 7 for 12th ; 6 for 13th ; 5 for 14th ; 4 for 15th

Points for jumping places = 20 points for 1st place ; 18 for 2nd ; 16 for 3rd ; 15 for 4th ; 14 for 5th ; 13 for 6th ; 12 for 7th ; 11 for 8th ; 10 for 9th ; 9 for 10th ; 8 for 11th ; 7 for 12th ; 6 for 13th ; 5 for 14th ; 4 for 15th

Points for agility places = 30 points for 1st place ; 25 for 2nd ; 20 for 3rd ; 18 for 4th ; 16 for 5th ; 15 for 6th ; 14 for 7th ; 13 for 8th ; 12 for 9th ; 11 for 10th ; 10 for 11th ; 9 for 12th ; 8 for 13th ; 7 for 14th ; 6 for 15th

Clear rounds = A round is deemed to be clear whether it is within the time limit set by the judge or not. Therefore, you do not need to have won a clear round rosette to claim your BaDDogz points.
